| Abstract | O objetivo desta pesquisa foi avaliar a dinâmica espaço-temporal da cobertura vegetal e uso da terra e o Estado ambiental das regiões de paisagem situadas na porção sudoeste do estado brasileiro de Mato Grosso. Os mapas de cobertura vegetal e uso da terra foram gerados a partir das imagens dos satélites Landsat 5 e 8 dos anos de 1984, 1993, 2003 e 2013 no Sistema de Informação Geográfico SPRING. As quantificações e elaboração dos layouts das representações cartográficas foram elaboradas no ArcGis. Procedeu-se a regionalização da paisagem a partir da elaboração de uma matriz geoecológica regional, bem como analisou-se o seu estado ambiental. Os usos antrópicos no período de estudo expandiram em 134,08%, enquanto as coberturas vegetais reduziram 21,66% e os corpos hídricos 39%. A pastagem é o uso da terra predominante na região 33,18% (43.170,15 Km²), ocupando principalmente os terrenos planos e suave ondulado. A cobertura florestal totalizou 65,32% (84.983,53 Km²), sendo encontrada principalmente em fragmentos florestais, cujos de maiores dimensões territoriais estão protegidos por legislação ambiental ou situados em terras indígenas. Foram delimitadas 8 regiões de paisagem na porção sudoeste mato-grossense, sendo que dentre elas, a Depressão do Rio Paraguai é a que apresenta a paisagem com maior percentual de usos antrópicos. Na maior parte da extensão da Depressão do Rio Paraguai o Estado Ambiental encontra-se degradado. Concluiu-se a partir dos resultados da dinâmica da cobertura vegetal e uso da terra e do Estado ambiental que há necessidade de adoção de práticas de manejo do uso da terra que minimizem a degradação ambiental, considerando que no período investigado a expansão dos usos antrópicos, principalmente a agropecuária, influenciou diretamente na supressão da cobertura vegetal das regiões de paisagem. ABSTRACT: The objective of this research was to evaluate the spatial-temporal dynamics of vegetation cover and land use and the environmental state of the landscape regions located in the southwestern portion of the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso. The land cover and land cover maps were generated from the Landsat 5 and 8 satellites from the years 1984, 1993, 2003 and 2013 in the SPRING Geographic Information System. The quantification and elaboration of the layouts of cartographic representations were elaborated in ArcGis. The regionalization of the landscape was based on the elaboration of a regional geoecological matrix, as well as an analysis of its environmental state. Anthropic uses in the study period expanded by 134.08%, while plant coverings reduced by 21.66% and water bodies by 39%. Grassland is the predominant land use in the region 33.18% (43,170.15 km²), occupying mainly flat lands and smooth wavy. Forest cover totaled 65.32% (84,983.53 km²), being found mainly in forest fragments, whose larger territorial dimensions are protected by environmental legislation or located in indigenous lands. Eight landscape regions were delimited in the southwest portion of Mato Grosso, among which the Paraguay River Depression presents the landscape with the highest percentage of anthropic uses. In most of the extent of the Depression of the Paraguay River the Environmental State is degraded. It was concluded from the results of the vegetation and land use dynamics and the environmental state that there is a need to adopt land use practices that minimize environmental degradation, considering that in the period under investigation the expansion of anthropic uses, mainly agriculture and livestock, directly influenced the suppression of the vegetation cover of the landscape regions. |
